Tina Deas My name is Tina and I am a counsellor, life coach and partner at A Time To Talk Counselling and Life Coaching Service where I work with individuals, couples and groups on a wide range of issues such as bereavement and loss, low self esteem, stress, depression, relationship problems, sexual abuse, work life balance and personal development. I am an accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). My training is as an integrative counsellor. This means that the wide range of skills that I use to work with clients, come from more than one theoretical approach to counselling such as person centred, psychodynamic and CBT. As I want to facilitate the best healing that I can for my clients, I am committed to my ongoing professional and personal development and have therefore completed further specialised training in many areas. I have completed specialist bereavement counselling training with “CRUSE”, accredited training for working with alcohol/drug dependent clients, training to work with gay and bisexual clients and advanced couple counselling, training in therapeutic group work, training to work as a life coach and I am a fully qualified Reiki practitioner. I also have a certificate in first aid and have been fully police checked. I have years of in-depth experience of working with alcohol and drug dependent clients at a drug and alcohol agency offering one-to-one work, therapeutic group work and life skills module training. As well as my work at A Time To Talk Counselling and Life Coaching Service I also work in other settings. I offer solution focused therapy for many common mental health issues for the NHS based in surgeries in Swindon. I also work as a therapist in a private practice where I offer Reiki treatments and use a more holistic approach to healing. |
