Tina Deas My name is Tina and I am one of the counsellors at A Time To Talk Counselling and Coaching Service. I trained as a counsellor at Swindon College. My initial training consisted of a Certificate in Person Centred Counselling followed by a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. This means that the wide range of skills that I use to work with clients, come from more than one theoretical approach to counselling. I am committed to my ongoing professional development and I have completed further specialised training such as CRUSE bereavement counselling, Alcohol Concern accredited training for volunteer alcohol counselling, couples counselling, group work, gay and bisexual clients. I also have a certificate in first aid and have been fully police checked. I have worked within a drug and alcohol agency offering one-to-one work, therapeutic group work and life skills module training giving me years of in depth experience of working with alcohol and drug dependent clients. As well as my work at A Time To Talk Counselling and Coaching Service where I work with individuals, couples and groups on a wide range of issues, I am currently working within an organisation in Swindon within which I co-facilitate psycho-educational groups and offer brief solution focused therapy for many common problems such as stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self esteem, anger, bereavement and loss. |
